As an empath, community matters to me.

I am Chinese Indonesian, born and raised in West Jakarta, Indonesia. As an only child with working parents, I spent most of my childhood days reading and drawing alone. So, my day naturally brightens when I get to spend them with people that I care for.

During Covid, my school's art club painted a mural for volunteering.

In my sophomore year of high school, I co-founded my school’s first art club with a few friends. We hosted design contests and art workshops. Sadly, the club did not last due to Covid. But that was my first taste of community-building - truly memorable and worth it.

TED x Georgia Tech talk - "Dear Freshman: You're Not Alone"

In 2023, I felt homesick when studying in the States for the first time. But there is nothing worse than knowing that hundreds of other international students are also lonely. This inspired me to take a step in speaking for the Fall 2023 TEDx Georgia Tech.

In my junior year of college, I was President of the International Ambassadors at Georgia Tech, leading 65+ members to serve 9,000+ international students through cultural events and mentorships, earning Georgia Tech's Access & Inclusion Award for the first time in 3 years.

... so much more than making things look pretty! It’s about enhancing daily lives, uplifting moods, and sharing meaningful stories.

Anddd, whether I’m creating goofy animation reels on my personal YouTube channel or wireframing a new app concept, I find pure joy in crafting digital experiences that bring smiles to those around me! :)

A 2-year-old who picked up a marker and doodled on anything she could find.

A 9-year-old who crafted her own sci-fi comics and shared it with the 4th Grade class.

A 12-year-old who created her very first digital art piece with her thumb on a phone.

A 17-year-old who paints digitally on a touch-screen laptop and posts art online.

This summer, I’m a UX Research and Design Co-op at Delta Air Lines in the Crew Technology division, where I assist in user research and prototyping for a new Hotel & Transportation System (HTS) web interface that replaces a legacy DBMS system.
